Did you know the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® manages over 30 Facebook pages, 20 Twitter accounts and six LinkedIn pages? It’s true! Just as many of our members use social media to connect with clients, we use social media to stay connected to our members, share breaking news and long form articles, as well as to learn more about what our audience wants to see more of on REALTOR.org.
Why do we have so many? The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® serves many different audiences, each with very different areas of interest. For example, a fan of @realtormag that wants to stay up to date on the tweets of the latest REALTOR® magazine articles may not necessarily also be interested in the latest data from @NAR_Research.
A Twitter or Facebook page for each area of interest allows our members to pick and choose what topics they wish to follow. And because we know we’re reaching a targeted audience, we can better create and curate content that provides value to each specific group.
Whether you’re a Commercial REALTOR®, an attendee at our annual conference or simply looking to learn more about foreclosures, there’s a social media account just for you. What NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® social media accounts do you follow?
