Membership does have its privileges. The National Association of REALTORS® Benefits Program was established to give REALTORS® value-added offers and savings on products and services, in addition to the brand recognition and trust that comes with the REALTOR® name. These benefits — for business and personal life — cover everything from new computer purchases and printing costs at FedEx to ongoing education and a vast library or real estate books and periodicals.

Marketing and Technology Solutions

To help improve your marketing efforts and save you money at the same time, NAR has developed partnerships with powerhouse brands like FedEx and Lowe’s. FedEx has huge discounts on select print services and shipping, including a bonus for all REALTORS® signed up for FedEx’s rewards program. REALTORS® who do a lot of printing for promotion and home staging or shipping for business and personal can get deep discounts with FedEx as a member. Lowe’s offers marketing ideas and solutions for REALTORS® with their clients, while also making a Lowe’s Gift Card program available as a nice perk for closing gifts. On the technology front, NAR has partnered with Dell and Hewlett-Packard to offer discounts on business class and home office products including notebook and desktop computers. Why pay full-price for a new laptop when members can take advantage of big savings?

For the REALTOR® on the go, NAR has made partnerships with three of the major rental car companies as well as Chrysler to help with car rentals, leases and purchases. For REALTORS® taking vacations or attending NAR conferences, Avis, Budget and Hertz offer great rates and quality vehicles year round. For REALTORS® in the market for a new vehicle, NAR has partnered with Chrysler, offering nice discounts on the purchase or lease of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram models, including a two-year service agreement.

Continuing education is the foundation for success and a great way to network with talented colleagues in real estate specialties. NAR offers special pricing to REALTORS® for a number of designations and certifications, helping keep real estate professionals current and well-trained. Hot topics like short sales and foreclosure, marketing and business-building, and Green real estate are all among the topics that NAR is in place to help REALTORS® master. Rather than learn from books or online articles, these quick, comprehensive and affordable programs will help REALTORS® gain an understanding of niche markets and help build an area of expertise.

NAR has developed some partnerships with just the REALTOR®  in mind. Relationships with insurance providers can save members hundreds of dollars on auto, home, renters, medical and dental insurance. REALTORS®  would be well-served to research personal savings that can be derived from programs with Liberty Mutual, as well as insurance offered through the REALTORS®  Core Health Insurance plan and the REALTORS®  Dental Insurance plan.

Financial Services

Whether REALTORS® need home warranty options, banking services or personal identity protection, NAR offers a host of financial and personal protection services for members. Partnering with American Home Shield, REALTORS® can take advantage of preventative maintenance plans to help lower utility bills and avoid costly air conditioning and heating system failures. REALTORS® can also team up with the REALTORS® Federal Credit Union, designed specifically with real estate professionals in mind. Finally, it’s more important than ever to protect your identity and personal information. IdentitySecure helps prevent, detect and resolve identity theft issues, giving REALTORS®  peace of mind at an affordable cost.
