One of the most cutting-edge benefits offered exclusively to NAR members is Realtors Property Resource® (RPR®), a dynamic database covering more than 160-million properties nationally. And through RPR Mobile™, this technology is now available for FREE for iPhone and Android with tablet and iPad versions to come out in Q2 of this year.
With RPR, introduced through standard web access in 2010, REALTORS® can integrate important Multiple Listing Service data, public records and multiple other sources of useful information into a customized report. This report can then be presented to buyers, telling the entire story about a home, neighborhood or city. RPR Mobile™ combines the power of your smartphone with the strength of the RPR® database. Now you can easily search properties, create and send a branded report and view local market statistics, anytime, anyplace.
Following are a few RPR Mobile™ features and functions that make it one of the most powerful resources in the residential real estate industry:
The RPR Mobile™ homepage allows you to track current market activity and even click right into what’s happening around you. You can also swipe to the right and get market trends, then swipe again to search by any address, zip code or other sources.
By leveraging your smartphone’s GPS, RPR Mobile™ allows you to review detailed neighborhood activity around you or a specific radius. Pan and zoom the maps to search in different areas. The recent activity is color-coded and, when zoomed in to street level, gray pins representing public records properties appear including Realtors Valuation Model® (RVM) estimates for each property within view. To learn more about any home, just press on the property icon to display the quick view.
RPR Mobile™ also accommodates individuals who prefer sorting through data via a list view. Each item in the list can be swiped to the left to display additional options such as: create a report, call agent and add photo, text or voice notes.
Notation features offer REALTORS® a unique way to build their personal property database. All notes, photos or recordings are only displayed for your account, and automatically sync between the mobile and desktop versions of RPR. Additionally, text and photo notes can be included on the reports you create for clients, which is a great way to highlight key data that is most important to your customers’ unique needs. As of the latest release, an uploaded photo can be displayed on the cover page photo of a Property, Mini-property and Seller’s report.
Giving you the data you need at your fingertips, the property details page provides access to the entire market. This goes well beyond standard MLS listings, sales data and public record and tax assessment information. Use your phone’s location to take a deeper dive into any property and view mortgage, historical and distressed data, flood zones, school ratings, dynamic mapping and more.
When it’s time to get your clients property or market information quickly, reports are the way to go. With RPR Mobile™, instantly create a property report, mini-property report, seller’s report, neighborhood report, market activity report or any number of other options. You can also combine several different report topics into a single report. Each branded report can be emailed or saved and accessed later. All reports and recent activity will seamlessly sync to all your devices.
Only REALTORS® can access the data made available through RPR Mobile™, which can be easily downloaded through the Play Store or the App Store. Launch the RPR Mobile™ jumpstart course to learn how to use the app. And if you have any questions, simply call the 24/7 RPR Help Desk at 877- 977-7576 or email questions to the RPR Mobile™ help desk team.
